Why it’s important to remember the Holocaust: Ellin on CTV News

With antisemitism on the rise in Canada, and around the world, “Double Threat” author Ellin Bessner tells CTV News why it is important to remember the 17,000 Canadian Jewish soldiers who helped stop Hitler and win WWII, and rescue the survivors of the Holocaust.

Ellin was on a speaking tour through the Maritimes in May 2019 for the Atlantic Jewish Council. She spoke in Halifax at the Canadian Museum of Immigration Pier 21, plus in Moncton, N.B., and in Sydney, N.S.
